Back Pages: OPINION/PARTISAN

These sources express strong opinions or have a political standpoint

Why include them? They contain information and ideas that may not be available from neutral sources.

Do we have a bias?

Yes, not a political bias, but we've seen bad effects of technology on family, friends, and the community. So we believe the public can't trust tech companies or tech leaders to keep them safe. There's plenty of evidence that "big tech"" doesn't care or is even pursuing a harmful agenda. We'd like you to have information from the widest range of sources so that you can decide what you think— just keep in mind the possibility of exaggeration or distortion.

Policy

We also link to discussions of policy - but we don't advocate any of them. They're included for those who do have an interest or influence on policy in relation to AI and other tech.
